Simon Wyatt
Simon joined Palmer Lane in January 2005.
Simon graduated from Warwick University with a BSc Hons in Industrial Economics in July 1997 and entered the Financial Services Industry in January 1998. His first regulated role was with Black Horse Financial Services, where he worked as a tied agent providing personal advice to Lloyds TSB clients.
He left there and moved to an independent role as a pensions specialist with Marsh Financial Services, which was a brief role after meeting his future wife Claire, who quite understandably could not bear to live outside Wales!
He then moved to Sedgwick Independent Financial Consultants in March 2001, where he provided bespoke financial advice to individuals and small businesses specialising in Inheritance Tax Mitigation, Retirement Counselling, and Complex Pension Solutions.
Following Barclays aquisition of SIFC in November 2003 Simon left SIFC to join Capital Planning UK Ltd.
Simon's role within Palmer Lane is as a specialist in Pensions, IHT mitigation, and Investments. He has recently qualified as a Chartered Fincial Planner (Only 1000 indivduals hold this qualification in the UK)
Simon lives in Swansea with his wife Claire, and enjoys supporting Llanelli RFC, reading a wide range of books and DIY in his spare time.
